Women's Health Services

About the Program Women who have served in the Armed Forces are eligible for a variety of veterans benefits. The VA actively encourages women to utilize the benefits due them. Located in building 2 on the second floor, the Coatesville VA Medical Center's Women's Health Program targets to meet the unique needs of our female veterans. We offer comprehensive healthcare to eligible women veterans. Our caring staff consists of Board Certified Internist and a certified Nurse Practitioner who provides primary care and office based Gyne services. Referrals are made as necessary for: Gynecology Mammography Breast Disease Surgery Other specialty care as needed Services Offered Our services are provided with respect for your lifestyle and values. All information is kept private and confidential. Questions concerning your privacy and release of information should be discussed with your health care giver. Services we provide include: Health Screening/Disease Prevention Clinical Breast Exam Pelvic Exam Mammography Colorectal Cancer Skin Cancer Hypertension Diabetes Cholesterol Patient Education Self Breast Exam Nutrition and Weight Issues Menopause Osteoporosis Sexual Assault Premenstrual Syndrome Family Planning Pregnancy Options Counseling Treatment Breast Diseases Vaginitis Sexually Transmitted Infections Pelvic Infections Menstrual Disorders Menopause Osteoporosis Sexual Trauma Counseling Contraception Other Primary Care Problems Mental health services, including treatment for post traumatic stress disorder, are also available.
