30 November 2009 – Today Station 76 was given an early Christmas present due to the arrival of our new engine. The 2009 Pierce Contender was delivered from Florida this morning. The engine will be housed at Station 38 while the final details are finished and the gear switched over from the old engine. We anticipate the engine to be in service in mid to late December with a variety of new tools added. More pictures and a break down of the new engine will be added when the engine is placed in service. Special thanks goes out to our brothers at Station 38 for housing the engine and Station 35 whom were ready to help out with housing if needed.
