Directions To The Coatesville VA Medical Center*

From the Philadelphia Airport:

Exit the Airport, (stay in right lane - the turnoff for I-95 South comes quickly).  Proceed on I-95 South - towards Chester and Delaware (approx. 9 miles), to exit for 322 (North or West - towards Route 1).  Go approx. 8 miles to Rt. 1 South - at light, turn left onto Rt. 1 South.  Take Rt. 1 South (approx. 1 ½ miles) to Rt. 202 North.  Turn right onto Rt. 202 North towards West Chester (approx. 8 miles). Rt. 202 North bears off - Rt. 100 begins.  Continue on 202 North (sign says Paoli) - go approx. 3 miles; take exit marked Rt. 100 North - Exton.  Take Rt. 100 North to entrance for Rt. 30 West (Bypass) towards Lancaster. (Entrance on right past the light).  Follow Rt. 30 West for approx. 8 miles - after Rt. 340 exit you will go up a long hill and under an overpass - Exit ramp (approx. 100 yards) marked for Veterans Administration and Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville will be on the right.

After turning right onto exit, you will come to a "T" (Brandywine Hospital will be directly in front of you) - make a left at the "T" - go to red light and make another left (this is Reeceville Road).  Proceed to traffic light (at junction of Rt. 340) - there will be a gas station directly across from you on the left and a large open field on the right).  After crossing through the traffic light road will bear to the right (near field) - VA CAMPUS WILL BE ON YOUR LEFT.

Driving time is approx. 50 minutes (depending on traffic).

Directions from the PA Turnpike (from North or West):

Exit from the PA Turnpike at Exit 23 (route 100).  Proceed South on Route 100 towards Exton for one (1) mile to first traffic light at junction with Route 113.  Turn right on Route 113 and go 3 ½ miles to junction with   Rt. 30 Bypass (Bypass entrance is located down the long hill, last ½ mile).  Go West on Route 30 Bypass - approx. 5 miles - to the Coatesville VA Medical Center exit (also Brandywine Hospital exit).

After turning right onto exit, you will come to a "T" (Brandywine Hospital will be directly in front of you) - make a left at the "T" - go to red light and make another left (this is Reeceville Road).  Proceed to traffic light (at junction of Rt. 340) - there will be a gas station directly across from you on the left and a large open field on the right).  After crossing through the traffic light road will bear to the right (near field) - VA CAMPUS WILL BE ON YOUR LEFT.

Directions from Wilmington, DE:

Take I-95 North to Rt. 202 North.  Follow Rt. 202 and get off at the Rt 100/US 30 Exton exit. Stay in right lane. After traffic light take Right onto US-30 towards Downingtown/Coatesville. Follow Rt. 30 West - approx. 8 miles - after Rt. 340 exit you will go up a long hill and under an overpass - Exit ramp (approx. 100 yards) marked for Veterans Administration and Brandywine Trauma Center/Hospital, Coatesville.
