The Following Opportunities Are Available:
BSN required / MSN preferred with Mental Health experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to educate staff and familiarity with computers are assets.
Tour: Monday - Friday (7:30 am to 4:00 pm)
Responsibilities include: Oversight of the Joint Commission standards for all of Mental Health. Work closely with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards for our work therapy and domiciliary (homeless vet) programs. Update MH policies, monitor quality of care, complete numerous focus reviews, root causes analysis, fact finding and investigations dealing with patient safety. Process numerous PIRs dealing with Mental Health patients, and oversee patient satisfaction surveys for MH units.
BSN and/or MSN preferred with at least 3 years clinical experience.
Tour: Monday - Friday (7:30 am to 4:00 pm)
This is a developmental position, candidate will be trained to be a future Unit Manager and to back-up Unit Managers during absences. Selected candidate will spend a total of one year in training (four months training in each patient care service line: Geriatric & Extended Care, Mental Health and Primary Care).
Tour: Midnight 12 am to 8:00 am
Our on site Nursing Home is a 38 bed skilled care facility offering assistance to medically and psychiatrically stable veterans. This unit offers an array of services ranging from rehabilitation to long term care; interventions including IV administration, ulcer care, respiratory care, and all other aspects of individual support.
